- Whisper-concurrent interpreting*** for above-mentioned events requiring simultaneous interpreting, in venues where simultaneous interpretation equipment is not available
| * | The interpreter sits or stands beside the source-language speaker, listening and taking notes as the speaker speaks. When the speaker makes a pause or finishes speaking, the interpreter renders the message in the target language. |
| ** | The interpreter seated in a sound-proof booth listens to a speaker through earphones and simultaneously transmits the message in the target language through a microphone to audience in the room. |
